Omen

Xaeha:
Time cuts through,
Carving those of us who’ve yet to move.
Knowing takes the queue.
Tinael:
See all the same,
Breaths that we claim in this space,
We rush to share ancient air,
Revealing all secrets spared.
Tell me
Jeryon:
Decipher the lines,
Scrying songs of a distant time.
Find our way inside,
Tap into the will of worlds.
Tinael (Jeyron, Saris, Cina):
Who placed their name? (We don’t ask)
Can it be safe? (Make progress)
We’ll be to blame. (Keep trying)
Danger awaits. (We always knew)
Tinael:
Believe me dear,
I can’t be part of this,
Saris…
Saris:
Walk the path you saw fit from your own eyes.
Cina:
This will all be worth it,
Won’t you see our cause?
Jeyron:
He's gone,
He saw the chance to leave.

Hourglass
03:27
|

Saris:
It all begins with several subtle steps,
And I’ve done something wrong.
It works so far to my intent,
But something tells me not for long.
Tap into the will of the world and suddenly,
I know the worst of this.
Hourglass gives time, make your plan,
Take this nail, rake it across my hand.
The sand, gets beneath your fingernails,
When you dig beneath mine.
And now I’m lying on the floor, half torn,
Like leaves at winter’s door.
I made it broken from the start, three parts,
All glued in with some tar.
I wished that it would stop when you discovered me.
What you make, it won’t last,
An hour in this place.
Your mistakes mark the change,
Of lives it will erase.
Hourglass gives time, make your plan,
Take this nail, rake it across my hand.
The sand, gets beneath your fingernails,
When you dig beneath mine.
The present is a gate we lock to doubt ourselves,
The time you need is now,
Don’t hesitate.
It’s tearing at my skull,
And wearing down my mind.
Forced to watch it as it trickles to the end.
Hourglass gives time, you made your plan,
Take this nail, rake it across my eyes instead.
I don’t care to bear witness to my own demise.
Bury all the remnants of what’s left behind.
You seem self-sufficient on your own.
Just follow my advice.

Wheel
04:45
|
|||
Cina:
Yearn, let it burn,
Cover up the death you spurn.
Learn what you earn,
Sober up and watch it turn, turn,
Turn. On your heel,
Steal and run ‘til you don’t feel
Keel as you reel,
Heed the warning of the wheel.
Say that this will be our last chance to be safe,
Sign away everything.
Our pursuit is just beyond this gate,
You can look back and stay that way.
I won’t be there so I’ll,
Take my time, take my time to,
Drink from the river,
Where knowing flows,
And what’s flowing knows.
Speed up the wheel and its churning grows,
Amidst crowing ghosts.
Jeyron:
Please don’t read between the lines.
These will rip into the sky.
Cina:
These rules are meant to be changed,
The future gives it away.
Yearn, let it burn,
Cover up the death you spurn.
Learn what you earn,
Sober up and watch it turn, turn,
Turn. On your heel,
Steal and run ‘til you don’t feel
Keel as you reel,
Heed the warning of the wheel.
And go until it breaks.
Jeyron:
I don’t want to carry it away.
Can we get away?
Cina:
Stay low to the ground
Ignore the sound of
The mountains cracking down
All around
Feel the earth it trembles
As it crumbles
Protect these symbols we’ve assembled
This will all be worth it,
All the suffering on the surface,
To be all that we sought.
But this is the last chance to be safe.
Jeyron:
We know enough to span a life.
Let’s trust my eyes.
I don’t want to carry it away,
Can we get away?
Cina:
Stay low to the ground.
Jeyron:
Can’t we be afraid of all the things to come?
‘Cause I don’t want to be the one to claim the ashes when they burn.
I have no desire to see what happens when you press your pressure.
Cina:
Run,
Faster, faster,
Discuss this after disaster strikes on me.
I’ll suture your future cuts to suit your,
Need to survive this.
You need to survive this,
So go now,
Get out,
Before I,
Before I know.
Jeyron:
Temptress, speak to me.
You’re bound on the ground of your secrecy.
The tempest to set you free,
Has drowned out the sound of machinery.
Empress, queen of thieves,
Your crown is a town founded by hounds and eaves dropped.
As the hammer hit the spoke your words were seeds, crops,
For someone else to reap.
And I don’t want to carry it away,
Can we get away?
Carry it away,
Can we get away?

Black

Tinael:
I’ve been left behind,
Holding the binding meant to drag me along.
I was out of mind,
Tied so tightly you couldn’t cut me loose,
Or talk to me.
But when did I become someone to fear?
I don’t know, but I once saw with my eyes,
Before I went cold.
I heard my claws scrape on the blade,
And felt the venom creep to my fangs.
I was never where I told you I’d be.
I was stuck in prayers of sinking too deep,
As I watched you move on.
I am hindered by your past.
Why did I become someone to fear,
When I was the one afraid of losing all I made?
If it didn’t haunt you then why is this what came of it?
My hope to care,
Was my road to this snare,
In the trees.
But when did I betray my sense of peace?
I don’t know.
I was never where I told you I’d be.
I was stuck in prayers of sinking too deep,
As I watched you move on.
I am hindered by your past.
Let warmth
Spill out
From my blood
And spread out
Leave me here,
With memories I stole,
The sword I sealed so none can touch it again.
Curse my fear,
And part with my soul,
I’ll lie so no one can touch me again.
Don’t touch me again.
