Along the road there is a stream, Its shape defined by what’s underneath. Though the current is hard to see, If it’s deep enough. Taste this, the sweetness, That flows through obliqueness. The stream feeds into a pool, Opaque, and still as the moon. It reflects everything like glass, Mirroring clouds as they pass. I’ve been waiting by the pool of full submission, Asking what will come into my narrow vision. Raindrops fall like pinpricks, On the surface, causing ripples small. I peer through the needlework stitches, To get a glimpse of what swims here. See this, the sickness, Decisions, my weakness. I’ve been wading in the pool of full submission, Apprehensive to commit to this transition. (I watch myself wake up.) Hear this, the reason for, A seasoned forgiveness. To reach it, and keep it, Releases us all. Feel this seep into, The pieces that keep me afraid to fall. I am diving in, Are you coming with me?

Paint two lungs to start my breathing Same direction without ceasing Every breath makes further depths although I’m Shapeless Ply and carve my mind a gemstone Like stars in the sky with rings to wreathe them in light Unrefined the shadow lies right where I Hide Come on Will you save me again When galaxies cave in And our bodies collide (dip in with the brush tip, mix me with the pigment) Waterless ocean I’m simply in motion I stay in my orbit no thought to my rotation Same direction Never change I’m not tired I’m just alone Resting while I’m wide awake Come on Will you save me again When galaxies cave in And our bodies collide (dip in with the brush tip, mix me with the pigment) Come on Will you save me again When galaxies cave in And our bodies collide (dip in with the brush tip, mix me with the pigment) Hide Reach me, keep me Soar, fly, seek me Use me to color Use me to contrast Craft me with the Composition in mind I’m still waiting for you to dial to My frequency Intercept me Are you coming with me? Find me where I roam. (Paint two lungs to start my breathing) (I am but a smear on the canvas) (I am but a smear, mix me with the pigment) Find me where I roam.

Can you make a sound, Louder than my thoughts? Can you place an image, Before my mind’s eye? Can you connect in a way, That can change what I feel? Taste this. So what if we’re not the same? (I am diving in) We’re either wandering or misplaced, Hidden or forgotten, Altogether solitary
